On February 19, 2025, Microsoft introduced the main progress in quantum computer science with the launch of the first quantum processor called Majoran 1. This new chip based on “topological suraphonductors” would allow the creation of quantum computers capable of solving complex industrial problems in a few years rather than at decade. Fruit for almost 20 years of research could disrupt not only IT technology, but also the crypto world.
